Easy Sourdough Baking Workshop
Overview
This course is designed for beginners and baking enthusiasts who want to learn and master the art of sourdough baking using O-tentic. Participants will be introduced to the fundamentals of sourdough fermentation and learn how to work with sourdough in a variety of applications, including ciabatta, baguettes, and pizza.The course covers the basics of sourdough starters, fermentation principles, dough handling, shaping, and baking techniques. Step by step, participants will learn how to develop flavor, structure, and texture while understanding how sourdough affects different types of bread and dough.
The training will be led by Chef Ziad Jallad, a bakery expert with over 30 years of experience in both artisanal and industrial baking. Chef Ziad is widely recognized for his deep expertise in sourdough and fermentation and has trained bakers around the world in professional bread-making techniques.
By the end of the course, participants will gain hands-on experience and confidence in working with sourdough, allowing them to successfully create a range of breads and pizza dough using professional methods.
