Junior Chef Camp

Overview

LAB1O1 Summer Camp is a hands-on 3-day culinary experience designed for young food enthusiasts who want to explore creativity in the kitchen while learning the fundamentals behind some of the world’s most loved products.

The camp offers participants the opportunity to experience a real culinary innovation environment at LAB1O1 through practical sessions, teamwork, and interactive learning.

Throughout the camp, participants will work inside professional kitchen spaces using industry-standard equipment while being guided through exciting culinary activities designed to inspire creativity and entrepreneurial thinking.

Day 1 - 21st July | Gelato & Bianchero at Home
Participants will discover the basics of gelato making, flavor balancing, textures, and presentation while creating their own frozen desserts and learning how premium gelato can be recreated at home.

Day 2 - 22nd July | Chocolate Bonbons & Moulding
A fully hands-on chocolate experience where participants will learn chocolate fundamentals, moulding techniques, filling preparation, decorating, and finishing professional-style bonbons.

Day 3 - 23rd July | Burger Making
From building the perfect burger to understanding ingredients, sauces, assembly, and presentation, participants will create gourmet burgers while learning practical kitchen skills and food preparation techniques.

The LAB1O1 Summer Camp combines education, creativity, and fun in an inspiring culinary environment, giving participants an exciting introduction to the world of food innovation and entrepreneurship.

Ages 12-15

Chef Omar Bendary specializes in artisan gelato and frozen desserts, guiding participants through the fundamentals of authentic Italian gelato making, flavor balancing, and product creativity using professional techniques adapted for beginners and young creators.

Chef Wissam Siala brings extensive expertise in pastry, chocolate, and bakery, with years of experience working alongside some of the industry’s leading brands and professionals. His sessions focus on creativity, precision, and mastering chocolate techniques in a fun and hands-on environment.

Chef Eslam Nasef is known for his expertise in premium hot kitchen concepts and culinary innovation, bringing a practical and exciting approach to burger making, ingredient combinations, and food presentation while encouraging creativity and entrepreneurial thinking in the kitchen.
